Budgets & inclusions
Punta Cana villa costs beyond the rental: build a complete stay budget
Budget for villa meals, staffing, groceries, transport and private experiences in Punta Cana. Compare inclusions and prevent double counting before accepting a proposal.
For villa guests comparing the full cost of a private stay.

The practical answer
Build the budget from the property's written inclusions, then add only the services your group needs. Separate fixed charges, per-person charges, hourly work, groceries and refundable deposits. Cana Concierge has no published standard tariffs; this guide explains how to request and compare actual quotes without inventing local price ranges.
| Budget line | Charging basis to confirm | Common scope question |
|---|---|---|
| Chef service | Per meal, person, day or labor block | Are groceries, serving and cleanup included? |
| Transport | Per trip or reserved time | What happens if the itinerary overruns? |
| Housekeeping | Included schedule or additional hours | Does event cleanup need separate approval? |
| Private outing | Vessel, group or person | Are transfers and refreshments included? |
| Property deposit | Refundable security amount | Who holds it and when is it released? |
Audit the rental inclusions first
Ask for a written list of included housekeeping, kitchen staff, utility allowances and any property fees before adding outside services. A listing that says 'chef available' does not tell you whether cooking labor, ingredients, serving or cleanup are included. Record each item once and identify the supplier responsible for it.
Keep refundable deposits separate from spending. They affect the cash you need available but should not be described as a final trip expense unless a charge is actually retained. Ask who holds a deposit, when it is due and how release works under the property's terms.
- Property rental and mandatory fees
- Included staff, exact hours and days off
- Ingredients, provisioning and receipt policy
- Utilities or consumption allowances, if applicable
- Refundable deposits and release conditions
Compare the same units
A chef's daily labor charge and a dinner's per-person price describe different scopes. Put the service date, number of meals, number of diners and working hours beside every line. For a driver, distinguish a one-way trip from a block of hours; for a charter, distinguish time on the water from transport to the departure point.
Do not divide the entire proposal by the adult count without considering children, different arrival dates or guests joining only one activity. First calculate the actual service total. Then decide how your group will split it. The supplier's charging basis and your group's reimbursement arrangement are separate decisions.
Create three scopes rather than guessing a luxury budget
For a light-support stay, request airport transfers, first-night groceries and one special dinner. For a more supported week, add selected chef meals and extra housekeeping only where these are absent from the rental. For a celebration stay, price the event separately with its own guest count, venue permission, setup and transport.
These are illustrative scopes, not packages or price estimates. Ask providers to quote the same dates and headcount for each version. Seeing what changes between scopes is more useful than comparing two unexplained totals labeled 'premium' and 'VIP'.
Check what can change after approval
Request the currency, taxes and service charges where applicable, payment fees, overtime rules and substitution policy in writing. If groceries are reimbursed at cost, ask how spending limits and receipts work. If an activity includes drinks or food, check before budgeting for the same items elsewhere.
Keep a separately labeled contingency amount of your own choosing for changes you authorize. A planning reserve is not a supplier charge. Require approval before additions, retain each provider's cancellation terms and compare the final invoice with the accepted scope rather than with an informal first estimate.
Questions before you arrange it
Can you publish an average concierge price?
A meaningful price needs a defined service scope, dates and provider. We do not publish an unsupported average or imply that an illustrative budget is a bookable offer. Request an itemized proposal for your actual stay.
Should everyone pay an equal share?
Only if your group agrees. Track who participates in each service, then choose a clear split before booking. Guests arriving later or skipping an outing may need a different allocation.
